Unable to post recently due to holidays.
Had occurances of four punctures, all from the back wheel, over the past 30 days. The cause each time was a tiny hole coming from opposite the valve from the spoke side of the tube's position. Very unusual considering the rim tape is in excellent condition and there are no burrs on the aluminium rim. Each time the tube was replaced. The last time the tyre was also changed and it seems to be holding air OK now.
Also unusual is the Cateye Velo 5 (installed in August 2007; failed in July 2008) has now come back to life in May of 2010. The screen is blinking the kph indicator as if it is ready to reciev programming. It is unable to be programmed because it is still glued to the handlebar and that procedure requires a button on the back of the unit to be accessed.
The Cateye Enduro 2 is providing intermittent readings due to having it's harness wire damaged, though it is functioning most of the time.
The drivetrain is holding up well enough. Some parts perform beyond expectations - the original grips show no wear. The lower hanger bearings (BB-UN52) installed October 2007 (km 4700) have something like 11000km and counting on them and run very smoothly.
Still riding daily, product #71-1556 functioning reliably today.
