Accessories are functioning perfectly. Fenders do not rattle and the inner tube bungee has been holding the lock down whilst riding since day one.

Almost a full year into the experiment. The $200 fully street legal kit has saved about 250 trips that would have cost about $2 each. Not to mention savings on time, parking, fuel and benefits to health.Granted must put another $5 of parts every 6 months and $50 of parts every twelve (not including labour).
All this is about 150 hours of 'flight' time.

An amazingly resilient machine, this SC1800.

The drivetrain is as dry as a sun bleached bone on a beach, yet engages forward propulsion. The crank bearings are loose as a goose falling off of a caboose, yet only make a barely audible grinding noise.

Maintenance has been postponed into the new year in order to receive maximum value from existing parts.

Rear brake cable has completely failed in the -10C temperatures. Once the rear brake lever is squeezed, the calipers stay closed.

Maintenance remains pending.
