It can plainly be seen from the photo of the freewheel that there are certain favourite ratios. It is also evident of the elongation of the chain when observing the light coming through between the large chainring and chain. This means that much of the drivetrain is overdue to be replaced. This resilient machine yet still somehow keeps on trucking.

Also, the tyres are a high light. They have not been puntured yet (knock on wood), seldom require inflation and have much life remaining on the tread wear indicators.
