There was a lively discussion yesterday about the merits of the Supercycle brand vs. CCM.

Now, a bike is a bike is a bike, and the subject of this experiment is a Supercycle. However, there is the bike wanted and then there is the bike afforded.

It would be an exquisite pleasure to turn the wheels of a genuine Canadian Cycle and Motor machine. The heritage and the tradition far and away lends itself to growing up in Canuckistan! Many a youngster and ridden these joycycles to fantastic places. The liberation of leaving home is a privilege.

That said, the Supercycle was within the budget parameters. It is a heavy, clunky piece of Chinese pigiron. It moves from A to B adequately.

Gotta get new pedals....
