Rig remains running right.

Only observation worth remarking is that the UN-53 bottom bracket axle is showing a very visible layer of rust on the exposed part of the axle.

Functionally, it is running as well as ever

yes, realized it was first mention of broken thumbie in last post. It was destroyed three weeks ago whilst riding in -17C weather and shifted into the 48tooth big ring and it snapped. The drivetrain has been stuck in the big ring ever since.

Also, find attached photos!

Not brake surface wear on front wheel compared to rear wheel. If looking carefully, it will be evident that the rear brake has not been used in a couple of months for a couple of reasons. I) The rear brake line has been frozen solid since December and will not actuate calipers and II) Front brake is all that is really necessary with enough rider skill on the urban street course anyway. (despite HTA's assertion otherwise)

Went back to Prolink after a couple of weeks with MEC wet lube and it washed off in one snowstorm. Applied one coat of MEC wet lube and one coat of MEC dry lube today.

Also, shout out to Gears Bike Shop for sponsoring us with a set of pedals - they are spares at the moment but will become indispensable imminently.

Thank you sponsors!
